Aruba Posta Elettronica Certificata S.p.A is an Authority of Certification registered with the Public Registry of Certifiers accredited by the DigitPA. (National Centre for IT in Public Administration) since the 06/12/2007.
Aruba Posta Elettronica Certificata S.p.A. offers all Public Administrations the possibility to activate at their place of business certain CDRL (Local Registration Centres), or rather Registration Authorities delegated by Aruba Posta Elettronica Certificata S.p.A. in order to issue Digital Signature certificates with full legal value directly and onsite.
Consultancy
To simplify and help Public Administrations use the new technologies, Aruba Posta Elettronica Certificata S.p.A. also offers consultancy services aimed at the actual needs of the Customer:
- consultancy services on computer security which don't include the development of integrated hardware and/or software solutions;
- development and supply of integrated hardware and/or software solutions;
In both cases, the Customer always takes part in the decision making process of the structure that needs to be created. The quality of the analysis is possible thanks to the use of methods which are recognized on an international level. To guarantee a constant fulfilment of Customer expectations, the procedures used for the Consultancy are regulated according to the certified procedures UNI-EN ISO 9001:2000.

- creation of issuing systems for Italian National Service Card (CNS)
- client/server management systems for Electronic Signatures

- integration of Certified Emails for the management of Public Administration legal documents.
ArubaPEC is also the Certifying Body which substitutes Trust Italia. As such, ArubaPEC has taken it upon itself to manage the life cycle of the certificates issued by Trust Italia, publish the revocation lists as well as provide the OCSP service and store all the documentation related to the services provided and managed for Trust Italia.
The PEC service (Certified Email in Italian Posta Elettronica Certificata) is the system which allows users to send e-mails with legal value equivalent to a registered letter with return receipt. Thanks to the security protocols that are used, the Pec service can ensure certainty of content preventing any changes to the message, both to the contents and any attachments.

A Timestamp is an electronic certificate, which associates a certain and legally valid date and time to an electronic document. Timestamps can be used both on files which have not been digitally signed, and on electronic documents with Digital Signature.
